AN OXIDISING MICROBICIDE FORMULATION

DESCRIPTION

H2OTREAT-1626 is an environmentally friendly liquid oxidizing microbicide formulation that releases chlorine on hydrolysis. H2OTREAT-1626 exhibits functional synergism with H2OTREAT-111. The combination has a broad spectrum of microbicide activity and provides excellent microbe control even in highly contaminated systems. The combination of H2OTREAT-1626 & H2OTREAT-111 in a cooling water treatment program ensures an algae, biofouling, and biocorrosion-free system, clean condensers, and smooth system operation.

ADVANTAGES:

  • Broad Spectrum Activity: H2OTREAT-1626 is equally effective against algae, bacteria, and fungi.
  • No Calcium Hardness Buildup: Unlike conventional chlorine-releasing compounds, H2OTREAT-1626 does not lead to a buildup of calcium hardness or suspended solids in the system.
  • Safe and User-Friendly: H2OTREAT-1626 is easy to apply, handle, and store.
  • Compatibility: H2OTREAT-1626 is compatible with most commonly used cooling water additives, such as scale and corrosion inhibitors, polymers, and non-oxidizing biocides.
  • Effective in Contaminated Systems: In combination with H2OTREAT-111, H2OTREAT-1626 controls microbial fouling even in highly contaminated systems and achieves effective microbe control in alkaline environments as well as in systems contaminated with ammonia and organic amines. The duo is most suited for today’s alkaline cooling water treatment regime.
  • Environmentally Acceptable: H2OTREAT-1626 has a good biodegradability profile and complies with industrial discharge regulations at application levels.
  • Easy Dosing: H2OTREAT-1626 is completely miscible with water, ensuring easy and homogeneous mixing.
  • On-Site Analysis: H2OTREAT-1626 can be readily analyzed at use concentration on-site, helping to maintain optimal residual concentration in the system.

DOSAGE AND APPLICATION:

The quantity and application procedure for H2OTREAT-1626 is recommended by the company’s technical experts based on:

  • Chlorine Demand of Circulating Water
  • Biofouling Potential in the System
  • Operating Conditions and Operational Requirements of the System

The required quantity is fed into the cooling water system either through gravity dosing or using a continuous dosing pump as per the recommendations of the company’s technical experts.

HANDLING AND PRECAUTIONS:

  • Though H2OTREAT-1626 is not a hazardous chemical, it may cause irritation to sensitive skin. In such a case, flush the exposed portion with plenty of clean cold water and seek medical advice.
  • Keep the container closed when not in use.
  • Keep away from direct heat.

PACKAGING:

  • H2OTREAT-1626 is normally packed in 10 kg and 50 kg jerry cans. For bulk supplies, other convenient packaging can be organized on specific demand.
